"I just had a septoplasty and nasal valve repair. I appreciate that Dr. Terkonda took his time to make sure that I was safe to have surgery. The medication he prescribed for the nasal drip was better than four years of receiving allergy shots. Nasal drip has gotten far better postop, but every now and then I still use the medication. I cannot believe this is how everyone else breathes and smells! Are you kidding me? Absolutely amazing."

How is an Ear Pinback performed?
Ear pinback surgery can be performed on adult patients; however, it is most common among children and is recommended before the start of elementary school. Otoplasty can safely be performed on a child as young as six. Ear pinning is typically an outpatient procedure done under anesthesia. Incisions are typically made behind the ear to reshape the cartilage, and sometimes permanent sutures are used to pin the ears to the head at a less obvious angle. Our team will provide recovery instructions following the procedure. It is important to not touch the ears or lay on the ears following surgery. The first follow-up appointment after surgery is typically within 3 – 5 days. At this time, we will remove the bandages and check on the healing progress of the ears.
